Bytom: Hello, everyone! We are glad to meet here: MO.Asnaei, a 3D Animation Expert & Motion Graphics Designer, he is invited to discuss crypto and her exciting NFT journey, anything you need to know about the becoming of a crypto artist in the NFT era
MO.Asnaei: Hello every one, nice to meet you all, I’m glad to be here with you
Bytom: Welcome MO. Asnaei, thank you for taking your time today! Let’s start with the introduction
Could you introduce yourself to our community?
MO.Asnaei: Yes, I’m Mo. Asnaei (Mohammadhassan Asnaei) High skill CGI artist for 15 years, 3d motion graphics designer & animation expert, including character design, environment design, effect design, visual ident etc.
Alexei: I would love to see your work! Please give me the link. Do you consider yourself a person who is interested in modern technology or do you limit your interests to creativity?
MO.Asnaei: Well actually I’m a half Artist & TD (technical director) I assume.
Alexei: I assume you learned about the NFT before most people did?
MO.Asnaei: Originally I had artistic talent from my childhood, & I mixed the art & technics through the time, I started with paintings & then at the age of the 12–13 I started to use it in CGI.
Alexei:I love that you are combining the two! I guess that allows me to ask you a question that interests me.
MO.Asnaei: Sure.
Alexei: Creative people are always full of ideas and suggestions for developing or improving something. What do you think NTF can improve? Perhaps you would like to add something to its functionality? Share your thoughts!
Mo.Asnaei: Of course, you know whats is exactly exciting about the NFT, its your area, you can do what you want to do! its not a project that people order it, like painting, you can be creative at the level you want & with all your heart wants to do. So, its an empty space with your brush, even your brush is the knowledge of making CGI animation or photograph etc. In this case you will be your mind essence, no one can affect it, so maybe its hard from another perspective, but I love this concept that I can do anything.
Simon: What inspires your work? What is your expectations for the NFT space?
MO.Asnaei: Well, The Nature is my mother, as you can see some of my artworks are related to it directly or indirect, but I always inspired from it as the only source of mine. you can paint your feelings from it or learn from it to use even animation rules or dynamic mathematics.
Alexei: Nature is truly a powerful source of inspiration. I also want to say that the Bytom team is very attentive to worthy ideas and can implement what you were missing on other NTF marketplaces.
MO.Asnaei: Sure, its a good start, I believe NFT platforms need to have policies to dont band ordinary artist to come in, but in the platform should be a measure tool that value the artwork nor the artist, as the concept of the blockchain is to be free from any centralized issues, so should act like that.
Alexei: Thank you for your attention to my questions. It was a pleasure for me to talk to you and I look at your work with interest.
I will follow your work and boast that I once spoke with you! :)
Bytom: Which platform is the most convenient, and in general, if we talk about platforms (NFT platforms), what requirements and criteria do you, as an artist, impose on them?
MO.Asnaei: It’s a hard question because need more explanations, but I can answer short
in terms of being easy to mint = HEN or Hicetnunc on tezos
in terms of artistic works = makersplace & superrare
in terms of popularity = FND
no platform is perfect but these are my feelings about them
Alexei: Leading blockchains are starting to implement NTF. As an artist, do you see a problem with NTF not being a cross-platform token?
MO.Asnaei: If it can be cross-plat it would be like water in every river & platforms, should serve more valuable services to the artists & the collectors, its every bodies dream I think.
Alexei: I was delighted to know that you are a TD and have the knowledge to ask you such questions. it is this question that interests me more than anything else. How long do you think we will have to wait for a technology that will allow NFT tokens to become water in different of the blockchain rivers?
MO.Asnaei: Well the sooner the better, but I can say it would less than a decade that we all use blockchain in our live for good.
Simon: MO.Asnaei, if NFT becomes water in different rivers of blockchain, wont this affect the price and the value of those art works?
MO.Asnaei: Non-fungable-token NFT is the key, no art is the same so there would be some space for every taste.
Simon: Where do you see the space in the next 5 years?
MO.Asnaei: As I mentioned before, in less than a decade (10 years) we would swim in every branch of blockchain, no matter its NFT or other utilities, many projects on the blockchain are going to be lunched these days, they have great future & followers, imagine if everything we use these days as a physical became into meta, thats the time that we can say we reached the concept. And personaly I will be a rich artist who is famous.
Simon: Do you think, NFT could still incorporate feedbacks from users instead of likes?
MO.Asnaei: It should be, & must, the people, the democracy is the main concept, thats why I love XTZ so much. But we shouldnt forget that the people should teach meantime, they should be prepared how to use it in correct way.
I can add, like system is gonna explode your journey, the art-experts should be there
Simon: I think this is where Artists can come in to create contents to enlighten people on the proper way to use NFT.
MO.Asnaei: As always in the history artist should light the road.
Bytom: How do you feel about NFT rise and trends. Do you think it will bring more value to the artist and their art?
MO.Asnaei: In ART actually trends should be artistic not related to the a famous artist, I know many great artist with no name, its the most annoying issue with the NFT platforms now, Trends would be nice if everythings are based on the justice & human rights. I’m assuming every artist can show his/her art with the platform, everywhere.
Another thing that i want to say, maybe the most of the collectors came from cryptocurrency career, ther should know or learn how to act with an artwork or artist too, its a new thing like 4G in the beginning, & everybody should learn how to work with it.
Bytom: Yes, I agree. Currently NFT is developing and becoming a new innovation in the Blockchain world. However, many Artists/Creators still don’t understand how to create NFT. How does solve this problem? Do you have plans to educate about NFT to Artists outside of Non-Crypto? Thank you.
MO.Asnaei: First of all for beginners: Gooogle, then twitter spaces, & clubhouse, its a time-consuming thing to learn from the beginning, but after would be easier, & personally I’m about to create some videos soon later on youtube to show the people what the requirements of the NFT space.
Bytom: As we all know NFTs are in trend, so what is your future goal after this? What is your vision of the NFT market and products
MO.Asnaei: when the importance of it achieved by our acknowledgment thats the time, meantime the base of the servers, metaverses etc will be build up.
Right now I’m working on my personal brand “Asnaei” & soon will set up a youtube channel that explains the concept of new cgi-art-living style, with my first short-futuristic animation.
Simon: Would you like to collaborate with other specialist in the space to develop and grow your channel.
MO.Asnaei: Sure, as I know the NFT needs community to grow, even its personal page or group project, I would be glad.
Simon: Good. Do you have any plan to attract them?
MO.Asnaei: the only plan is to give them value, by sharing your skills or any other material, when people see potential to learn from you they will love & follow you.
Bytom: When artists display their art, they are able to observe people’s instant reactions to their art pieces through facial expressions, mimics, etc. However, with nft art, this is not possible. What do nft artists feel about it? Because they won’t be able to see these reactions.
MO.Asnaei: This is a clever question. well IMO the half of the artist career is his/her art, the other half is how to present it & how is gonna look like with your description, in this case the description of the artworks are very important & the probable road map of the projects. After this, the digital footprint of you on social media.
Bytom: Thanks for your time, MO. Asnaei! Great to see how many questions you’ve answered. Thank you to everyone who took part!
MO.Asnaei: Anytime, we are all together in this, & this is my community too.
Simon: We are pleased to have you and wish you all the best in your endeavours. We would love to have you on Maz platform.
