Bytom CEO Lang Yu was invited to attend the 2022 IEEE C/BDL plenary session

25th April, 2022, the plenary meeting of the IEEE C/BDL Standards Committee was held online. At the meeting, Bytom CEO— Lang Yu reviewed the progress of the P3209 working group and introduced future plans.

This conference is organized by the IEEE C/BDL Standards Committee. It is the leading blockchain standard development conference in China and has great influence internationally.

At the meeting, Lang Yu introduced the standard formulation and outstanding achievements of the P3209 working group over the past year. A total of 7 offline and online meetings were held to discuss a series of major topics including key generation, storage, hierarchical derivation, mnemonic security, cross-chain self-certification, performance, etc. The draft was basically completed and will be entered into the draft in the future Review and voting stages. Next, Bytom will hold the eighth working meeting of P3209 on April 27 to further discuss and revise the current draft with the working group members.

On September 5, 2019, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) announced the establishment of the IEEE Computer Society Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Standards Committee (IEEE C/BDL) to guide, manage and Supervise the development and industrial promotion of blockchain standards.
