Project Development
1.August 28th，Bytom team presented at the “Mars blockchain silicon summit & china-us blockchain leaders summit” conference in silicon valley of the United States, and introduced to the participants “Bytom Dev Competition” to be held in hangzhou in late October.The competition is hosted by Bytom, co-organized by several well-known industry organizations around the world, and invited both domestic and overseas heavyweight guests to participate in the review and guidance. The organizer will provide awards, technical guidance and business incubation to all innovative and outstanding projects that win awards.
2.In “Chainge” salon — “application of side chain and cross-chain technology in blockchain field” on August 26, Wang Zhang, a core developer of Bytom, said that Bytom is based on two-peg, implementing the side chain model of fed-peg, and introducing multi-intermediary mechanism to control the quality and compliance of assets. Unlike the third-party guarantee of an exchange, two-peg solve such a problem through a cryptographic mechanism. Based on the POW consensus, Bytom needs to provide inclusive, compliance and efficient support for traditional world assets. This system also needs to be related to actual business. Bytom architecture is flexible and young, and it has realized Turing complete smart contract .
Technical Community
(1)BYTOM 1.0.5 new version features
1. Support SPV light nodes, which is convenient for mobile devices to make payment confirmation;
2. Optimized the mine pool module to reduce the risk of loss of the calculation capacity of the mining pool;
3. Support users to use smart contracts to release assets;
4. Support the coin voting function;
5 Added some transaction-related API paging functions to enhance the enterprise-level user experience;
6. Optimized the smart contract UI for better user experience;
7. Solved the problem of temporary lock on user assets;
8. Solved the problem that multiple transactions cannot verify the transaction in advanced transactions. Problem preventing fraudulent transactions;

Bytom Dev Competition
