Dear Bytom supporters, here’s the fresh Bytom weekly report, this week (Oct 22-Oct26th) we had many progresses on Project Development 、Community Building、Technical Community 、Swap Progress and Dev Competition：
Project Development
1. In Oct 25th, Bytom CEO Duan Xinxing was invited to attend CNCC2018. Duan attended the “Blockchain Technology and New Trend of Application” panel and gave a speech to attendees.
Duan said that the distribution of cryptography and science &technology talents is an important factor affecting the blockchain at present. In addition Duan also said the research of blockchain was divided to parts for further research, such as cryptography、peer-to-peer network technology and then the technology of one-way financial monetarism and its characteristics are studied in every aspect, but this is not enough to fully understand the blockchain technology, and the blockchain industry should be analyzed from the perspective of the whole.
2. 2018 Junction × Digital Nation Hackathon, which is Europe’s biggest # Hackathon, will be held in Finland in November. #Bytom is honored to be a partner of this hackathon and we will provide exciting challenges and prize. The topic of the hackathon is decentralized registeration of personal identity and marriage information. Junction 2018 is the largest Hackathon in Europe.
3. In Oct 24th, Bytom Operation Director Qianli Ma was invited to attend sharing activity which was hosted by Zhejiang Financial Technology Association. In this activity, Ma hosted the panel and talked with guests about whether the wallet is profitable or not, the development trend. They thought currently wallets should focus more on users’ experience and building scenario of payment.

Bytom Mainnet Migration：Bytom mainnet migration is drawing to a close.
Bytom Dev Competition
The final of Bytom Dev Competition will be held in Hangzhou Expo Center on November 17–18th and the final will pick top 16 teams from more than 100 teams to win the final prize.
Projects
- Btmscan.com:this is the first block explorer from Bytom community. You can search block information、hashrate and mining profit on it. It’s really useful.
- A game named “ Draw Something” in blockchain is really shining. Devs provided several pixel pics as the question and you need to provide the answer then you can get the asset which is locked with Bytom smart contract. Developer Lu Gang from PPK said that they wanted to explore a mid-layer communication protocol which crosses different public blockchain and applications.
- “Dapps” is an advertising platform which can lock asset with Bytom smart contract and you have to answer the corresponding question to unlock the asset. Through that platform, advertisers can show the content to users directly and all ad-rate are well used and ads get better efficiency.
- Aiming at the current recruitment, the team Mongjoy submitted a DApp based on Bytom smart contract which named “Smart recruitment Community”.The information will be transparent. Enterprises need to pay corresponding BTM to browse resumes. Enterprises and job seekers can comment on each other and all comments will be blockchainized.
- Huang Shuai from the Computer Science&Technology Department of Tsinghua Unversity submitted a DApp based on Bytom to manage blockchain asset and challenge fragmentation issues of private key.
